The handicapping panel met last night and have completed the marks for Sunday’s big race. As mentioned in previous correspondence the race has been handicapped as a stand alone event given its prestige. Most established athletes have been moved to either previous winning mark or ceiling marks unless they have won a Classic event in the last couple of Seasons.
Looking at the marks, I am excited by the prospect of some super racing given there are some big blocks of runners who are running well and have very similar times. Best of luck to all participants on Sunday – click here to view marks.
Just a reminder that to be eligible for prize money and placings you must have had three (3) runs with the club during the season. The total prize money for 2015 has increased to $5000.
